MEC Lehari to Deliver the Community Safety and Transport Management Departmental Budget Vote to the NW Legislature Next Tuesday, 23rd July 2019The MEC for the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, Honourable Jonas Sello Lehari will, next Tuesday, 23rd July 2019, be tabling his first Departmental Budget Vote for 2019/20 Financial Year before the North West Provincial Legislature. The purpose of the budget speech is to afford the MEC to impress upon the members of the Provincial Legislature and the gallery and the North West public in general of the work, achievements, challenges and service delivery performance of the department in line with the mandate and Annual Performance Plan as well as strategic objectives of the department. He will be accounting for the budget allocation for the 2018/19 budget to the Department as well as seek approval for the 2019/20 budget from Members of the Provincial Legislature. This will enable the MEC's department to execute its constitutional mandate and obligations as well as deliver efficiently and impact positively towards the betterment of the life's of the poor, the jobless and the disadvantaged communities of this province as well as to the general population. The auspicious event will take place at the North West Provincial Legislature Precinct next Tuesday, 23 July 2019 in front Speaker, Hon.
